Perfume Experiential Discovery
Perfume Experiential Discovery is an immersive retail concept developed in partnership with Diptyque, reimagining how fragrance can be explored and experienced. Using Microsoft HoloLens in combination with intelligent sensor technology, the project augments physical perfume ingredients with responsive digital layers.
As users interact with each element, they are transported into curated virtual environments shaped by the memories, atmospheres, and associations evoked by each scent. These transitions unfold seamlessly, blending physical presence with mixed reality to create a deeply multisensory encounter.
Rather than describing fragrance through language alone, the project translates scent into spatial and visual narratives, allowing customers to experience perfumes as immersive worlds. In doing so, it proposes a new model for retail—one that is experiential, intuitive, and grounded in emotion and memory.
